1. WhatsApp Connect (Embedded Signup)
GoHavi uses the official WhatsApp Business Cloud API. This is different from the personal WhatsApp app or the WhatsApp Business App.
Capabilities
- Unlimited Devices: Your entire team can access the same inbox simultaneously.
- Green Tick Qualified: API accounts are eligible to apply for the Official Business Account (Green Tick) verification.
- Broadcasting: Send bulk messages to thousands of opted-in users (subject to Tier limits).
2. CRM Integrations (HubSpot / Zoho)
GoHavi acts as the "Communication Layer" while your existing CRM remains the "System of Record".
How it Works (2-Way Sync)
- Inbound: When a new lead chats on WhatsApp, GoHavi creates a Contact in HubSpot/Zoho.
- Outbound: Changing a Deal Stage in HubSpot (e.g., to "Qualified") can trigger a GoHavi WhatsApp template (e.g., "Here is your quote").
- Activity Logging: All WhatsApp chat logs are synced back to the contact's timeline in your CRM.
3. Calendly Integration
Automate your appointment workflow completely.
- Trigger: User books a slot via your Calendly link.
- Action: GoHavi sends a WhatsApp confirmation: "Hi [Name], your demo is confirmed for [Time]."
- Reminders: GoHavi sends automated T-24h and T-1h reminders to reduce no-shows.
4. Meta Rules & API Guidelines
To protect the WhatsApp ecosystem from spam, Meta enforces strict rules. Violating these can get your number banned.
The 24-Hour Service Window
When a user sends you a message, a 24-hour session opens.
- Inside the window: You can send any type of message (text, media, free-form).
- Outside the window: You CANNOT send free-form text. You can only send a Template Message (see below).
Template Messages
Templates are pre-approved message formats used to initiate conversations or re-engage users after 24 hours.
- Must be approved by Meta (takes 1-2 minutes typically).
- Categorized as: Marketing, Utility, or Authentication.
- Cannot contain threatening content or aggressive upselling.
Opt-In Policy
Examples of valid opt-in:
- A checkbox on your website contact form: "I agree to receive updates on WhatsApp."
- User initiating the chat first.
Messaging Limits (Tiers)
New accounts start with restrictions on how many unique users you can message per day.
How to upgrade? Meta automatically upgrades your tier if you consistently send high-quality messages near your current limit without getting blocked/reported.
